How to store my books?

The best way to keep your books in the same fine condition is to keep them in your living space and not to expose them to direct sunlight. In case you have a seriously valuable book we recommend to put it behind glass, so there is practically no air circulation. Stored like that you will be able to enjoy your books for ages.

All our books are covered with Mylar, an archival plastic material that protects the book from air circulation and dust. The Mylar also has a UV filter that protects the covers from fading.

We are happy to put mylar on single books that you bring to our store. We will charge between $5 and $10 depending on our efforts. Every book takes up to 5 minutes and we are doing 6 folds so it tightly fits the covers like a glove.

In case you need to mylar your whole collection of books you might consider to by this material in bulk like we do: Plastic Suppliers Product: 440 Polyester 516 2 Side Slip, 24" x 100'
