Illus. With 60 color-plates. Bound in black leather, with title and University blazons in gold on front. As with other Royal Canadian Editions dealing with Britain, this one is called a "Beautiful Britain" volume (as is blocked on the upper spine) , but it is in fact identical to the Twenty-Shilling volume. Again, this appears under the imprint of Cambridge Corporation, Ltd. , Montreal, and the foot of the spine reads "CAMBRIDGE" rather than "A & C BLACK. " 1, 000 copies were supposedly printed, but it is not known how many of these were actually shipped. This copy is numbered 113. A small portion of page 171 has been torn off, but these only affects in the margin, and does not interfere with text. Otherwise, this is a very good copy of a hard-to-find volume; 265 pages
